The R2PRIS consortium is represented by 6 European countries, geographically covering Northern (Norway), Southern (Portugal), Western (Belgium, Netherlands), Eastern (Romania) and Southeastern (Turkey) Europe. Partners have been searching for innovative approaches to prison management and prison staff training, especially training for highly demanding situations such as dealing with sentenced radicals and prisoners at risk of being recruited and radicalised during their stay in prison.
Other research institutions and prison administrations joined the project as associated partners and benefited of project results.
